Expressive Arts Therapy Cooperative is a network of doers.

We believe.

We believe trauma-informed and inclusive art therapy and mentorship should be accessible to all peoples.

We are.

A network of licensed and formally trained expressive arts, art therapists, and supervisors.

Our Mission.

To support expressive arts/ art therapists, healers, artists, clients, social justice leaders, and our communities.

The EXATC endeavors to consult together cooperatively as independent trauma trained clinicians to offer expressive arts therapy to provide healing and resilience to our clients from an intersectional feminism and multicultural lens.

Our Commitments.

We are committed to transparency within the industry, non hierarchical wisdom-based practices, and mentorship from a trauma-informed and attachment-based foundation.

We work within a community sourced financial model to offer need based pro-bono and sliding scale trauma counseling to underserved individuals including at-risk youth, BIPoC, and LGBTQIAA+ communities.

Our Activities.

We collaborate together locally, meeting monthly to offer each other support as a community and share ideas to better serve our clients, mentees, and students.

EXATC offers affordable supervision, professional direction, and mentoring to underserved emerging clinicians in the field. We also offer CEU’s and workshops, group/dyad/1:1 supervision, and mentorship.
